End of term 2 holidays

At the end of term 2 we had 2 weeks off school or 14 days. The holidays were boring and lonely because dad was in Puhoi for 2 weeks for work. We just sat at home for the holidays on the couch and some times went out to Paraparaumu and Palmerston North.

On Saturday the 18th of July I went out fishing with friends of the family, we went to the north east side of Kapiti island. We were fishing off the boat and the bottom of the ocean was 49.2 meters down. First we put out the net then we went to the north east side of the island and started fishing. We were only catching Taraki and Blue Cod with the rods. The biggest catch of the day was from me with a Barracuda and two shags. When we went to get the net in we got no sharks and only got three Maori chiefs two got tossed back into the sea and one was in the net so we just ignored it. We got a wheel barrow full of butterfish.

Blog Task

 This is my blog task. My whole class (DHT) made one as a class project, well actually the whole year 7&8 year group made one. We made it for our class online workspace. All the links on the pictures should work so if they don't then there is a problem with Blogger.

Week 10 weekends

On Saturday at the end of week 10 me, my brother, mom, and dad went to my brother's first soccer game of the season. The game was 90 minutes long and was played here in Otaki at Haruatai park. The senior boys(Otaki college's team) versed Onslow(the enemy team), the game ended up being a victory to Otaki with 3-2.

After that we went home and packed our bags for a night because we were going to stay in Masterton for the weekend. It was a 2 hour drive from Otaki to Masterton we drove there in dad's land cruiser. We were going to stay at Copthorne hotel is a 4.5 star hotel with a resturant and a buffet table at 8.00 to 9.30 for breakfast.

The reason we came to Masterton was to help my dad's uncle move homes and just check up on the family. We had Mc donalds for dinner and stayed in the room and I had a Boss burger and large fries with a banana milkshake, also a large. In the room there were only two queen beds so me and my brother had to sleep in the same bed and I apparently kept everyone up so it sound's like a them problem.

In the morning we had a buffet breakfast. I had bacon, scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages, some peaches from a can, a somthing flavored muffin, and some chilled water. After breakfast we went back to the room to pack up and then signed out of the hotel and went to my dad's uncle's house and helped move a box, some board games, and lots of pictures and art work. we off loaded that at his new home and then picked up mom and my brother and then we left for home. 

Queen's Birthday

The Queen's Birthday this year was on the first of June in 2020.
The Queen herself has two birthdays, she was born in the 21st April 1926 which makes her 94 years old. The reason Elizabeth the 2nd has two birthdays is because of George the 2nd in 1748. He gave all British sovereigns are given the option for two birthdays and the Queen's second birthday is held for celebration every year on the first of June, these birthdays are also for honours given by the Queen.

Now this is what I did on the Queen's birthday starting on Saturday. So all four of us me, mom, dad, and my brother got up and we had breakfast and got dressed and put our shoes on then hopped in the old Toyota Surf and off we went to Palmerston North. We were going to test drive a 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser from Central City Cars. The Toyota has a V8 Diesel engine and full leather interior and a it was painted silver. After the test drive we brought it, and me and dad drove straight home to Otaki, and mom and my brother went to the plaza to spend money on clothes. The ride home was better than the drive to Palmy.

On Sunday we stayed home and relaxed. I also brought a $20 google play card for my phone and got a island on Merge Dragons and spent the rest of the money on Minecraft, Minecraft itself was $9 and the island on Merge was $10 so I have $1 left. Merge Dragons is a really awesome game you start with a big island and you merge three of the same things together and get the next level of that thing and if five things get merged then you get an extra thing. Everyone should know what Minecraft is but if you don't then it is probably the most famous game ever and it is a block game with no round pieces and you mine blocks and build buildings like in most survival games.

Monday was different to the other days because we went to Paraparaumu in dad's new Land Cruiser to get two bags and I thought we were getting mom's weekly food pickup but no. After that we decided to drive to North city in Porirua and the drive was so nice and relaxing besides the sliding around on the leather seats. Dad got a jersey from Hallensteins and then we got bowl for lunch, I got Noodles, onions, beetroot, creamy chicken, spicy kara age, and hot sauce. Then we couldn't find a seat to eat but finaly we did and had lunch then went home.       

Things that happend so far

This month is my birthday month and on the 17th my brother turned 16. Yesterday on the 24th of may I got my big afro shaved off at the barber in Levin next to rangoli. We(me mom dad and my brother) got there at like 12:00 pm and left with our hair cuts at 3 or 4 pm.

This morning on the 25th there was a strong M6.0 earthquake 25 km north west of Levin. that woke me up out of bed. Last week on the 18th-22nd of may my whole class had a reliever teacher in homeroom class.
